Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Service Representative - Outpatient Eligibility/Procedural Authorization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate patient accounts through pre-admission, admission, and registration processes
• Analyze insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and resolve insurance claim issues

Required Qualifications

• High school education with some postsecondary education preferred
• Two to five years of experience in hospital access, physician office, or billing and collections
• Knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles
• Relevant training or working knowledge of related business is preferred
• No specific degrees, licensures, or certifications required
