Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications for multiple ambulatory practices, handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and resolving medication and insurance issues.

Key responsibilities
  • Communicate with patients and staff through various advanced communication tools, addressing inquiries professionally and empathetically
  • Utilize a computerized scheduling system to schedule and reschedule patient appointments while ensuring accurate documentation in patient records
  • Participate in training sessions and assist in the orientation of new personnel, while identifying process improvements to enhance patient experience
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to explain complex healthcare issues with empathy
  • Effective interpersonal skills for working in a diverse team environment
  • Experience using multiple advanced communication tools, including phone calls and online chats
