Job Summary

To support multiple ambulatory practices, the full-time Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications, handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and ensure accurate documentation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools to resolve inquiries professionally and empathetically
  • Utilize a computerized scheduling system to schedule and reschedule patient appointments, providing detailed confirmations and instructions
  • Document patient information accurately and update records using Epic, while identifying opportunities for process improvements
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to explain complex healthcare issues to patients with empathy
  • Effective interpersonal skills for working with a diverse team
  • Experience using multiple communication tools, including phone, email, and online chats
