Job Summary
To support multiple ambulatory practices, the full-time Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications, handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and verify insurance, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools to address inquiries and concerns
- Utilize a computerized scheduling system to manage appointments and provide detailed confirmations to patients
- Document patient information accurately and escalate issues outside existing protocols as needed
Required qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to explain complex healthcare issues empathetically to patients
- Experience in using multiple communication tools, such as phone, email, and online chat
- Effective interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of professionals
