Job Summary

Providing essential support to multiple ambulatory practices, the full-time Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications, handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and assist with medication reconciliation and insurance verification in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Communicate with patients and staff through various channels, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and empathetically
  • Utilize a computerized scheduling system to manage patient appointments and provide detailed confirmations and instructions
  • Document patient information accurately and assist in training new personnel under the direction of management
Required qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using multiple advanced communication tools, including phone calls, online chats, and emails
  • Ability to explain complex healthcare issues with empathy and concern
  • Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration in a diverse team environment
