Job Summary

Handling inbound and outbound communications for up to six ambulatory practices, the full-time Patient Service Representative will manage patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and resolve questions regarding medication and insurance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools, ensuring professional and empathetic interactions
  • Utilize a computerized scheduling system to schedule and reschedule patient appointments, providing detailed confirmations and instructions
  • Document patient information accurately and escalate issues outside existing protocols to meet patient needs
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Experience in explaining complex healthcare issues to patients with empathy
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to use multiple communication tools
  • Ability to document work professionally and efficiently
