Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Patient Service Representative will handle inbound and outbound communications for multiple ambulatory practices, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing insurance verification while providing exceptional patient-centered service.

Key responsibilities:
  • Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools to resolve inquiries professionally and empathetically
  • Utilize a computerized scheduling system to manage patient appointments and provide detailed confirmations and instructions
  • Attend training sessions and participate in staff meetings to improve processes and enhance the patient experience
Required qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to explain complex healthcare issues with empathy and concern
  • Effective interpersonal skills for working in a diverse team environment
  • Experience using multiple communication tools, including phone, email, and online chats
