Job Summary

To support multiple ambulatory practices, the full-time Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications, handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and resolve concerns regarding medication and insurance in a permanently remote setting.

Key responsibilities:
  • Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools to address inquiries and provide information
  • Utilize a computerized scheduling system to schedule and reschedule patient appointments accurately
  • Document and update patient records using Epic, ensuring compliance with Practice guidelines and HIPAA regulations
Required qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to explain complex healthcare issues empathetically to patients
  • Effective interpersonal skills for collaborating with a diverse team
  • Experience with multiple communication tools, including phone, email, and online chat
