Job Summary
To support multiple ambulatory practices, the full-time Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications, handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and assist with medication reconciliation and insurance verification in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools to resolve inquiries professionally and empathetically
- Utilize a computerized scheduling system to manage patient appointments and update records accurately
- Participate in training sessions and assist in the orientation of new personnel while identifying process improvements for enhanced patient experience
Required qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Proficiency in using multiple communication tools, including phone, online chats, and emails
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to explain complex healthcare issues with empathy and concern
- Effective interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team environment
