Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications for multiple ambulatory practices, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient information.
Key responsibilities:
- Communicate with patients and staff through various channels, resolving inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner
- Utilize a computerized scheduling system to efficiently manage patient appointments and provide detailed confirmations
- Document patient interactions and updates accurately, adhering to established Practice guidelines and protocols
Required qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Experience with advanced communication tools, including phone calls, online chats, and emails
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to explain complex healthcare issues to patients with empathy
- Effective interpersonal skills for working in a diverse team environment
