Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications for multiple ambulatory practices, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient information.

Key responsibilities:
  • Communicate with patients and staff through various channels, resolving inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Utilize a computerized scheduling system to efficiently manage patient appointments and provide detailed confirmations
  • Document patient interactions and updates accurately, adhering to established Practice guidelines and protocols
Required qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Experience with advanced communication tools, including phone calls, online chats, and emails
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to explain complex healthcare issues to patients with empathy
  • Effective interpersonal skills for working in a diverse team environment
