Job Summary

To support multiple ambulatory practices, the full-time Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications, handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and assist with medication reconciliation and insurance verification in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools to address inquiries and resolve issues
  • Utilize a computerized scheduling system to manage patient appointments and provide detailed confirmations
  • Document patient information accurately and relay it to practices while adhering to established guidelines
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex healthcare issues with empathy
  • Familiarity with using multiple communication tools, such as phone, email, and online chat
