Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications for multiple ambulatory practices, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient information.

Key responsibilities:
  • Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools to resolve inquiries and provide information
  • Utilize a computerized scheduling system to manage patient appointments and ensure timely follow-up on patient concerns
  • Participate in training sessions and assist in the orientation of new personnel while identifying process improvements to enhance patient experience
Required qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to explain complex healthcare issues empathetically to patients
  • Effective interpersonal skills for working within a diverse team environment
  • Experience using multiple communication tools, including phone, email, and online chat
