Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications for multiple ambulatory practices, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient information.

Key responsibilities
  • Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools to resolve inquiries professionally and empathetically
  • Utilize a computerized scheduling system to schedule and reschedule patient appointments while providing detailed confirmations and instructions
  • Attend training sessions and assist in the orientation of new personnel, while identifying process improvements to enhance patient experience
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to explain complex healthcare issues with empathy and concern
  • Effective interpersonal skills for interacting with a diverse group of professionals
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written, for effective patient interactions
