Job Summary
To support multiple ambulatory practices, the full-time Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications, handle patient inquiries and appointment scheduling, and ensure accurate documentation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools to address inquiries and provide information
- Utilize a computerized scheduling system to schedule and reschedule patient appointments, ensuring proper time allocation
- Document and update patient records accurately while adhering to established practice guidelines and protocols
Required qualifications
- A minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to explain complex healthcare issues with empathy and concern
- Experience using multiple communication tools, including phone calls, online chats, and emails
- Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals
