Job Summary
To support multiple ambulatory practices, the full-time Patient Service Representative will handle inbound and outbound communications, manage patient inquiries and appointment scheduling, and ensure accurate documentation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate with patients and staff through various channels, addressing inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner
- Utilize a computerized scheduling system to manage appointments and provide detailed confirmations to patients
- Document and relay patient information according to established Practice guidelines and assist in training new personnel
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to explain complex healthcare issues to patients with empathy
- Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration in a diverse team environment
- Experience using multiple advanced communication tools, including phone, email, and online chats
