Job Summary
To support multiple ambulatory practices, the full-time Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications, handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and ensure accurate documentation, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate with patients and staff through various channels, addressing inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner
- Utilize a computerized scheduling system to manage patient appointments and provide detailed confirmations
- Document patient information accurately and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to explain complex healthcare issues with empathy
- Experience using multiple communication tools effectively
- Effective interpersonal skills for working in a diverse team environment
