Job Summary
To support the Patient Revenue Management Organization, the remote Patient Service Representative will manage patient accounts, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements and facilitating financial arrangements while providing high-quality customer service during regular Monday to Friday hours.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze insurance coverage and benefits to ensure timely reimbursement and obtain necessary authorizations
- Schedule and pre-register patients, correcting demographic and financial data as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with patients regarding their financial liabilities and assisting with payment arrangements
Required qualifications:
- High school education with some postsecondary education preferred
- Two to five years of experience in hospital access, physician office, or billing and collections
- Working knowledge of related business practices
