Job Summary

To support patient care initiatives, the part-time Patient Service Representative II will manage a high volume of incoming calls related to appointments and medical needs, providing exceptional customer service and problem-solving support, while working remotely from Boston, MA, for a total of 24 hours per week across three days, including at least one weekend shift.

Key responsibilities:
  • Handles and screens incoming patient inquiries, ensuring first call resolution or appropriate escalation to team members
  • Mentors and trains Patient Service Representative I staff, maintaining high performance standards and supporting complex patient inquiries
  • Documents patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records and ensures compliance with service line guidelines
Required qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service role
  • 2+ years of experience in the healthcare field
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft, scheduling software, and electronic medical records systems (Epic or equivalent)
  • Ability to work part-time (24 hours/week) with flexibility for shifts between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM EST, including weekends
