Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Service Specialist to assist patients by managing incoming calls related to appointments and medical care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a high volume of incoming patient calls, providing support and directing inquiries as needed
  • Document call details in the electronic medical record and ensure patient information is up to date
  • Deescalate issues with upset patients and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to resolve operational difficulties
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of customer service experience in a clinical setting
  • 1+ years of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
  • Ability to work full time (40 hours/week) with flexible scheduling
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
