Patient Service Specialist
Job Summary
To support patient-first healthcare, the full-time Patient Service Specialist will welcome and check in patients, assist with scheduling and MyChart enrollment, and ensure a smooth checkout process in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide a comprehensive and proactive Patients First experience for patients and visitors
- Perform patient registration, visit preparation, insurance verification, and co-pay collection
- Investigate and resolve patient issues using the established HEART model
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing, or customer service; OR Associate's Degree with 1 year of experience; OR Bachelor's Degree
- Working knowledge of PC window applications
- Ability to perform basic math sufficient to process insurance co-pays
