Patient Service Specialist
Job Summary
Providing exceptional patient care, the full-time Patient Service Specialist will welcome and check in patients, assist with scheduling and MyChart enrollment, and ensure a smooth checkout process while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a comprehensive, proactive, and Patients First experience for patients and visitors
- Perform patient registration, visit preparation, insurance verification, and co-pay collection
- Investigate and resolve patient issues using the established HEART model
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree with 1 year of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree
- Working knowledge of PC window applications
- Ability to perform basic math for processing insurance co-pays
