Job Summary
To support a growing call center team, the full-time Patient Services Representative will manage patient communications, resolve account issues, and provide exceptional customer service in a fully remote environment with a schedule of 10:30 AM to 8 PM (EST) Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Answer phone calls from patients, guarantors, and insurance companies, providing accurate information and resolving account issues
- Educate callers on insurance billing and payment options while documenting all interactions according to best practices
- Make outbound calls to follow up on past due balances and advise patients on account-related information
Required qualifications
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to communicate professionally, accurately, and concisely
- Detail-oriented with a thorough approach to problem-solving
- Positive and encouraging attitude
- Access to a reliable home internet connection that meets company criteria
