Job Summary

To support multiple ambulatory practices, the full-time Patient Services Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications, handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and resolve medication and insurance-related questions in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:
  • Communicate with patients using various tools, including phone calls, online chats, and emails, to address inquiries professionally and empathetically
  • Utilize a computerized scheduling system to schedule and reschedule patient appointments while ensuring accurate documentation in patient records
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in training sessions to enhance customer service and patient care
Required qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to explain complex healthcare issues with empathy and concern
  • Effective interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of professionals
  • Experience using multiple communication tools, including phone, email, and online chats
