Job Summary
To support a dynamic team in a fully remote environment, the Patient Services Representative will manage the processing of accident claims, develop professional relationships with clients, and ensure effective communication with insurance payers.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between the hospital and clients, ensuring open communication with physician offices and insurance payers
- Obtain and verify information regarding payment responsibilities for patient hospital bills or claims
- Escalate complex accounts to management to ensure effective progress on challenging cases
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years' experience with EMR/EHR systems; EPIC software preferred
- 1+ years' experience registering patients in a hospital/provider group setting
- Experience with MVA claims or health claims, including Medicare, preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, preferred
