Job Summary
To provide exceptional patient care, the part-time Patient Services Representative will manage phone customer service, schedule appointments, and handle patient information while working remotely with occasional on-site training or meetings in the Erlanger/Lexington, Kentucky area.
Key responsibilities
- Manage high volumes of incoming calls, scheduling and canceling patient appointments for multiple providers
- Process patient information, including demographics, insurance verification, referrals, and authorizations with accuracy and efficiency
- Assist patients with inquiries regarding services and provide updates on the status of referrals and authorizations
Required qualifications
- High School Graduate or High School GED upon hire
- Proficiency in handling sensitive patient information and communications
- Ability to work independently with flexibility and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on first call resolution
