Patient Services Representative

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare practice, the part-time Patient Services Representative will manage patient calls, resolve inquiries, and update account information while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and handle patient/client calls, ensuring a positive experience
• Review accounts to obtain insurance information and process payments or referrals as necessary
• Perform pre-verifications for eligibility and communicate any Patient Services issues identified

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience in a healthcare setting or insurance-related field
• Previous call center experience is highly desirable
• Fluency in Spanish, both oral and written, is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of medical terminology and billing practices preferred
