Job Summary
A company is looking for an Experienced Patient Services Specialist I to provide customer service for patient medical billing inquiries remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding healthcare accounts receivables and ensure timely resolution
- Research and educate patients on outstanding bills, assisting with payment arrangements and financial options
- Maintain compliance with confidentiality standards and organizational policies while processing and documenting interactions
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.; Associate's degree in a related field preferred
- Three years of Call Center experience
- One year of billing and coding experience
- Six months of remote work experience
- Technical skills in Microsoft Suite and online payment navigation
