Job Summary

A company is looking for an Experienced Patient Services Specialist I to provide customer service regarding medical billing from a remote location.

Key Responsibilities

• Responds to patient inquiries regarding healthcare accounts receivables and ensures timely and accurate documentation of interactions
• Researches and educates patients on outstanding bills, assists with account errors, and discusses options for resolving balances
• Maintains confidentiality standards and complies with regulations while meeting quality and productivity expectations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.; Associate's degree in a related field preferred
• Three years of Call Center experience and one year of billing experience
• Six months of remote work experience
• Strong understanding of the insurance billing process
• Technical skills in Microsoft Suite and online payment navigation
