Job Summary

Working remotely in the Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time Zones, the full-time Patient Support Representative will manage patient inquiries, assist with complex information exchanges, and provide customer service support while adhering to performance goals and guidelines.

Key responsibilities:
  • Meet performance goals in patient satisfaction, accuracy, quality, and attendance
  • Provide services to customers involving complex and sensitive information while acting as a patient advocate
  • Utilize Optum systems to resolve customer needs related to appointments, authorizations, claims, and benefits
Required qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service-based role
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite and navigating multiple chat channels within Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to type at a speed of 40+ WPM
  • Flexibility to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday during business hours, including occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays
