Job Summary
Working remotely in the Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time Zones, the full-time Patient Support Representative will manage patient inquiries, provide customer service, and assist with data entry while adhering to performance goals and departmental standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Meet performance goals related to patient satisfaction, accuracy, quality, and attendance
- Provide services to internal and external customers while acting as a patient advocate and resolving complex issues
- Utilize Optum systems to address customer needs, including appointments, authorizations, claims, and eligibility
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and ability to navigate multiple chat channels within Microsoft Teams
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
- Availability to work full-time, including potential overtime, weekends, and holidays
