Job Summary
To support a growing patient support team, the full-time Patient Support Specialist will field and resolve patient inquiries, triage support requests, and assist with scheduling and clerical tasks in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Field and resolve overnight questions and support requests from patients and partners
- Respond to and triage inbound patient and partner questions via phone, email, and SMS
- Assist with real-time scheduling changes and support clerical work related to patient appointments
Required qualifications
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience in patient service or healthcare
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare software
- Experience coordinating with national labs such as Quest or Labcorp
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate appointment documentation
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
