Payables Accountant

Job Summary

Working remotely while residing in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Utah, the full-time Payables Accountant will manage payment activities, perform comprehensive audits, and assist in developing financial policies and procedures to support a person-focused healthcare experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, review, and process all invoices and payment documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with corporate budgets
• Research and respond to payment inquiries from vendors, providers, and business partners, ensuring timely resolution
• Audit payments for accuracy prior to release and maintain check control logs in accordance with departmental protocols

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, with 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Payable processes
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, and other administrative software
• Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity is highly desired
• Ability to work flexible hours during periods of heavy workloads
