Payables Accountant
Job Summary
Working remotely from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Utah, the full-time Payables Accountant will manage various payment activities, conduct comprehensive audits, and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external partners.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor, review, and process invoices and payment requests to ensure accurate accounting practices
- Research and respond to payment inquiries from vendors and business partners
- Audit payments for accuracy and maintain financial records in accordance with departmental protocols
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting, accounts payable, or disbursement accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email applications
- Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity is highly desired
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and best practices
