Payer Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Payer Analyst II will educate internal teams on payer guidelines, conduct trend analyses, and mentor junior analysts while managing complex contract interpretations and resolving claim issues.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate and interpret payer guidelines and contracts to identify and escalate claim issues
• Conduct in-depth trend analysis to identify payer behavior and improve AR collections
• Lead payer-facing calls and communications, representing the company to drive successful outcomes

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma with 5-7 years of relevant experience in revenue cycle operations
• Proficiency in Healthcare Reimbursement Pricing Structure and Methodologies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex contract language
• Experience in mentoring and providing guidance to junior analysts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
