Payer Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing operations team, the full-time Payer Credentialing Specialist will manage end-to-end credentialing processes for providers, coordinate payer enrollment applications, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage credentialing and recredentialing processes for new and existing providers, including verification of qualifications
• Coordinate payer enrollment applications and updates to ensure timely processing and provider participation
• Maintain accurate credentialing files and collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve credentialing-related issues

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in provider credentialing and payer enrollment, preferably in a healthcare organization
• Strong ownership mindset with a self-directed approach to work
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in tracking applications and documentation
• Reliable follow-through on commitments and proactive communication regarding timelines
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple credentialing tasks simultaneously
