Job Summary
To minimize reimbursement barriers for patients and providers, the full-time remote Payer Enrollment Coordinator will manage practitioner eligibility, complete enrollment applications for government and commercial payers, and respond to inquiries related to payer policies and reimbursement support services.
Key responsibilities
- Determines and processes practitioner eligibility for enrollment with various payers, ensuring timely and accurate submission of applications
- Documents and tracks the status of provider enrollment applications, maintaining accurate records for Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers
- Collaborates with providers and department representatives to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with enrollment standards and deadlines
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree and 1 year of relevant experience required
- Experience with payer enrollment processes and reimbursement support
- Knowledge of private payer, Medicare, and Medicaid systems
- Familiarity with CAQH profiles and electronic billing systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
