Job Summary
To minimize reimbursement barriers for patients and providers, the full-time remote Payer Enrollment Coordinator will manage eligibility determinations, process enrollment applications, and resolve coverage issues while collaborating with healthcare providers and various departments.
Key responsibilities
- Determines practitioner eligibility and processes enrollment applications for government and commercial payers
- Documents and tracks the status of provider enrollment applications and maintains accurate databases
- Responds to inquiries from healthcare organizations and collaborates with internal departments to ensure compliance
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree and 1 year of relevant experience required
- Experience with payer enrollment processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement structures and policies
- Ability to analyze and verify application documents for accuracy and completeness
- Proficiency in managing electronic submission systems and databases
