Payer Enrollment Director (MD, DC, VA)

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Payer Enrollment (Mid-Atlantic).

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely resolution and completion of payer enrollment to prevent revenue loss
• Assure compliance with health plan requirements related to provider certification and credentialing
• Streamline processes and workflows for the onboarding department, utilizing automation where appropriate

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in managed care credentialing, billing, or medical staff service setting
• Experience with Maryland, DC, and VA Provider & Payer (Medicare & Medicaid) systems
• Strong leadership experience managing enrollment teams with a large provider inventory
• Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Verity CredentialStream and Athena EMR preferred
