Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Payer Enrollment Specialist will manage the enrollment process for healthcare providers with insurance payors, ensuring compliance and accurate record maintenance while facilitating communication between providers and payors.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinates and assists in the enrollment, maintenance, and revalidation of provider data and documents for successful claims submission
- Manages provider records, payor applications, and follow-up processes to ensure accurate and timely updates
- Assesses and verifies data with insurance payors, coordinating necessary changes and providing information for audits
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in healthcare enrollment or a related field
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and insurance policies
- Experience with revenue cycle software and practice management systems
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
