Payer Relations Director

Job Summary

Responsible for managing coverage and reimbursement processes within a designated region, the remote full-time Payer Relations Director will establish favorable payer coverage, ensure fair payment practices, and coordinate reimbursement support for key healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage relationships with payers and healthcare stakeholders to facilitate reimbursement processes
• Coordinate consultations with KOL physicians and institutional customers to address reimbursement barriers
• Collaborate with internal teams to achieve strategic business goals related to payer and provider interactions

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in payer relations, reimbursement processes, or healthcare policy
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance, Medicaid, and MAC policies
• Experience working with KOLs and healthcare providers
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and cross-functional relationships effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
