Payer Relations Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payer Relations Manager to manage and optimize relationships with health plans for effective revenue cycle operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for payer representatives to resolve enrollment, underpayment, and billing issues
• Monitor ongoing payer issues and collaborate with internal teams to implement corrective actions
• Provide updates on national payer trends and prepare reports on payer performance and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Strong experience in payer relations and revenue cycle management
• Understanding of payer contracting, billing processes, and healthcare regulations
• Proven ability to build relationships with external stakeholders, including health plans
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with athenaNet and Cognizant TriZetto products preferred
