Payer Relations Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting payer strategy and negotiations, the full-time remote Payer Relations Specialist will analyze reimbursement rates, model healthcare contracts, and provide data-driven insights to identify revenue opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

• Collect, cleanse, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Model payer contracts and simulate negotiation scenarios to evaluate financial impacts and identify revenue leakage
• Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or healthcare analytics, with a preference for contract modeling experience
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas, as well as experience with Power BI
• Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement methodologies and managed care contract language
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large and complex data sets
