Payer Relations Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting payer strategy and negotiations, the full-time remote Payer Relations Specialist will analyze reimbursement rates, model healthcare contracts, and provide data-driven insights to identify revenue opportunities and assist in decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, cleanse, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Model payer contracts and simulate negotiation scenarios to evaluate financial impacts and identify revenue leakage
• Create visualizations and reports to present data insights clearly to stakeholders and monitor payer performance against contracted terms

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, healthcare analytics, reimbursement, or managed care, with a focus on contract modeling
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools
• Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement methodologies and managed care contract language
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large complex data sets and communicate findings effectively
