Payer Systems Architect

Job Summary

Serving as the principal subject matter expert in payer-side healthcare workflows and system integrations, the remote Payer Systems & Integration Architect will provide strategic advisory guidance during customer implementations, lead complex workflow discovery, and develop scalable implementation frameworks to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex workflow discovery and implementation advisory engagements to define integration strategies and guide solution design
• Advise implementation teams and customers on integrating MCG solutions into complex payer operational ecosystems
• Establish and evolve scalable implementation frameworks, standards, and best practices to improve organizational capability across payer integration engagements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 8 years of experience with health plan systems, workflows, operations, and healthcare integrations
• Demonstrated experience leading or advising complex healthcare implementations within payer environments
• Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability, system integrations, and data flows across multiple platforms
• Proven ability to analyze and translate business and technical requirements into scalable implementation guidance
