Payment Accuracy COB Specialist

Job Summary

Working full-time, the Payment Accuracy COB Specialist will review and analyze claims and member data to identify recoverable claims while leveraging proprietary software tools and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze claims and member data to determine the correct order of liability
• Utilize Cotiviti audit tools to conduct thorough investigations and document findings accurately
• Prepare responses to client disputes and identify opportunities for process improvements

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred with at least one year of related healthcare experience
• Familiarity with Coordination of Benefits and healthcare industry standards preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with large datasets and a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
