Payment Accuracy Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Payment Accuracy Specialist 2, this role will develop and execute audit concepts, train team members, and conduct complex audits to ensure payment integrity in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develops new audit concepts and trains team members to execute audit projects effectively
• Conducts audits of client data to identify recoverable claims and evaluates the effectiveness of audit processes
• Collaborates with Engineering to enhance auditing tools and reporting efficiencies

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred with 4-6 years of related healthcare experience
• At least 3-4 years of experience within Cotiviti recommended for internal candidates
• Strong knowledge of claim adjustments, provider contracts, and payment integrity in the healthcare industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and previous SQL experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets and various databases
