Payment Accuracy Specialist

Job Summary

To support the healthcare recovery team, the full-time Payment Accuracy Specialist 2 will develop and execute audit concepts, train team members, and analyze client data to identify recoverable claims, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement new audit concepts while training less-tenured team members
• Conduct audits of client data to identify billing compliance issues and generate recoverable claims
• Utilize advanced audit tools and methodologies to analyze complex reports and improve audit production efficiency

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred with 4-6 years of related healthcare experience
• 3-4 years of experience at Cotiviti recommended for internal candidates
• Healthcare industry knowledge, including claim adjustments and reimbursement policies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SQL strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation
