Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare recovery team, the full-time Payment Accuracy Specialist 2 will develop and evaluate audit concepts, train team members, and conduct complex audits while working under moderate supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Develops new audit concepts and trains team members to execute audit projects effectively
- Conducts audits on client data to identify recoverable claims and ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Collaborates with engineering to enhance auditing tools and reporting processes
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred with 4-6 years of related healthcare experience
- 3-4 years of experience at Cotiviti recommended for internal candidates
- Strong knowledge of claim adjustments, provider contracts, and reimbursement policies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and previous SQL experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work with large data sets and demonstrate self-motivation in both individual and team settings
