Payment Accuracy Specialist

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic healthcare recovery team, the full-time Payment Accuracy Specialist will audit client data, generate recoverable claims, and assist in identifying and validating audit projects while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits of client data to identify over and under-payments, documenting findings and supporting claims
• Utilize Cotiviti audit tools and Microsoft Excel to analyze reports and ensure compliance with CMS and NAIC guidelines
• Participate in knowledge sharing within the audit team and assist in onboarding new hires

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2-4 years of related experience in healthcare, with a strong preference for knowledge of Medicaid Claims
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with auditing standards and regulations
• Strong interest in working with large data sets and various databases
