Job Summary
To support the healthcare recovery team, the full-time Payment Accuracy Specialist 2 will develop and execute audit concepts, train team members, and analyze client data to identify recoverable claims while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develops new and existing audit concepts and trains team members to execute audit projects
- Conducts audits of client data to generate high-quality recoverable claims and evaluates the effectiveness of audit concepts
- Collaborates with engineering to enhance auditing tools and reporting while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred with 4-6 years of related healthcare experience
- 3-4 years of experience with Cotiviti recommended for internal candidates
- Strong knowledge of claim adjustments, provider contracts, and reimbursement policies in the healthcare industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and previous SQL experience strongly preferred
- Ability to analyze large data sets and identify trends, discrepancies, and anomalies
